Refund policy
Returns Policy Including In Store Returns:
If you wish to return your item(s) for refund or exchange, A Brilliant Disguise offer 30 days for full price items and 14 days for sale items, from the date of purchase.
All of the following criteria must be met to ensure a refund or exchange can take place.
· Please retain your original receipts, including your card receipt if you paid by card or digital device. At point of sale, you can ask for an email or text receipt that is also valid as proof of purchase. We can only process a refund against the account that was used for the original purchase.
· Please keep all original packaging (including boxes/labels/tags/etc) intact and attached. Without these we are unable to accept your return as the product has become unsaleable.
· Your item(s) must be returned in a saleable condition, as per the original purchase. Please keep item(s) clean & safe to prevent damage, this includes smells (for example; cigarette smoke/perfume/other odours) or any markings. Shoes must not have been worn outside or on a surface that has marked the tread. We cannot accept the returns for items which we are unable to resell.
· If you have misplaced your original receipts, we may be able to offer an exchange or credit note, if you are able to provide another proof of purchase. Such examples would be a copy/screenshot of the bank transaction showing the date of purchase & total paid. All other returns criteria remains, and such action is at our discretion.
· We are unable to accept returns after the 30 days for full price item(s) and 14 days for sale item(s), unless an extension has been agreed at the time of purchase. A note will be added to your original receipt confirming the terms.
· Faulty products are dealt with on an individual basis. If you believe your product is faulty, please bring the item(s) back to the store for review. Proof of original purchase is required. We will then assess every potentially faulty item for length of time passed, visible or excessive wear, misuse or poor care while taking into consideration whether it’s a manufacturing fault/damage. Following review, we may be able to offer an exchange, refund, replacement product or credit note. However, the decision of A Brilliant Disguise is final.
· If you are unsure of any of the above points, please ask a member of the team who will be happy to advise.
· Readison Limited, trading as A Brilliant Disguise, reserve the right to refuse any refund or exchange. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Additional Information For Internet Sales
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days for full price item(s) and 14 days for sale item(s), since original date of purchase. If these periods of time have passed since your original purchase, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, underwear, or swimwear.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Goods confirmed at the time of purchase that cannot be returned/exchanged
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Book with obvious signs of use
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at abrilliantorder@gmail.com, marking the e-mail as high priority so we prioritise accordingly.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item in a different size, send us an email at abrilliantorder@gmail.com so we can check stock availability and reserve it for you; please send your item to: A Brilliant Disguise, 25 High Street, Stroud, GL5 1AJ, United Kingdom.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund (if original charges were applicable).
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
